I'm really curious about the illustrations. Are they monochomatic or multicolored? If the latter, how were they reproduced?

François, the image on the cover and within are single color printed with polymer plates on a letterpress. Click that link for Friedrich's name for some pics of the plates on the press... Painstaking stuff but it looks and feels (and smells) pretty bad A.
